Benefits of Podcasting:
Watching these video's enlightened me on how beneficial podcasting can be to the modern classroom. Podcasts create creativity and innovation and force the students to use higher level thinking and skills. This is the main advantage for using podcasts in the classroom, because students are very interested in it and also learn how to think critically.
Also podcasts are a great way to supplement learning from the classroom to home. If class lectures are on podcasts students can have another chance to comprehend the material at home, and absent students will not get behind. Another important benefit of podcasts is for parents to also have the ability to be a greater asset to their students education by knowing whats going on in the class.

Learning How to Podcast:
When looking through these sites I got excited about the opportunity to learn how to make a podcast. The first thing that caught my eye was that it takes skill to produce a successful podcast. To be successful you must have a plan and a vision for the podcast that you want to produce. This is easier said than done though. I am looking forward to the challenge of creating a successful podcast.

I was really impressed by this site. I found it to be very useful and easy to find useful podcasts. I found myself at the social studies podcasts and listened to several great podcasts of great speeches in American History. They were great and could be a very effective teaching aid in the classroom. These podcasts made the history come alive and made it very interesting. I believe that is could be great web site for teachers, and also listened to the correct way to create an interesting podcast.
